Exciting News: KLM Reveals Summer Schedule for 2024

The upcoming summer travel season will see KLM expanding its route network to include a total of 155 destinations, with 92 in Europe and 63 intercontinental. This represents a 7% increase in seat capacity compared to the previous summer, bringing the airline’s operations close to pre-Covid levels. The summer schedule is set to commence on March 31, 2024, and will run through October 26, 2024.

One of the key highlights of KLM’s summer schedule is the increased flight frequency to various international destinations. Passengers can expect more flights to Jakarta in conjunction with Kuala Lumpur, as well as to Denpasar paired with Singapore. Direct flights to Osaka have already resumed, and daily service to Tokyo Narita is set to make a comeback. Additionally, flights to Taipei, Hong Kong, Montreal, Toronto, and Los Angeles will see an increase in capacity, with North American destinations surpassing the levels seen in 2019. These adjustments reflect KLM’s strategy of aligning its network with market demand and operational resources.

On the European front, KLM plans to ramp up flight frequency to multiple destinations this summer. Scandinavia will see daily service to Billund (Denmark) and Stavanger (Norway), while Great Britain will experience increased flights to Edinburgh, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Southampton. The airline will continue its service to Marseille and provide daily flights to Nice. In Eastern Europe, KLM will boost frequency to Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw, and Prague, along with expanding operations to Bologna, Florence, and Genoa in Italy.

For passengers interested in flying to Tel Aviv, KLM will resume daily service starting April 1, with flights making a stopover at Larnaca until at least May 19, closely monitoring the security situation in Israel. These strategic adjustments in flight schedules signify KLM’s commitment to enhancing its service offerings and catering to evolving travel demands.
