Royalty to Grace Easter Sunday Service: King Charles and Queen Camilla to Attend

King ⁢Charles III and Queen‌ Camilla are set to make an appearance at an ‍Easter service at Windsor Castle’s ‍chapel ⁣this Sunday, as confirmed by ⁤Buckingham Palace officials. This will be a significant event for⁤ Charles, 75, given his ⁤recent cancer diagnosis in February.

Since the diagnosis,⁤ the king‍ has been undergoing regular treatments ⁤and ⁢has scaled back on his public engagements. While officials have not disclosed the specific type‍ of cancer Charles⁢ is facing, they have clarified that ⁢it is unrelated to his previous treatment for a benign prostate condition.

Despite his health challenges, Charles is still actively involved in state affairs, including holding regular meetings with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. He remains committed to ⁢his role as the head of state‍ and will not be relinquishing his constitutional duties.

The Easter Sunday service at St. George’s Chapel will⁤ also ⁣see other⁢ members of⁤ the royal family in attendance, although it ‍is unclear who else will be present. Notably, Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, are not⁤ expected to attend as she ‌is currently undergoing cancer treatment as well.
