The rookie quarterback who led Houston into the NFL postseason has set another record in his team’s opening-round win. Quarterback C.J. Stroud made history by completing 16 of 21 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns in the Texans’ 45-14 victory over Cleveland. “I just want to give all glory and praise to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” Stroud said in his post-game interview, expressing gratitude for the support he’s received in Houston and from his hometown. Stroud’s incredible performance was truly a team effort, and he credited his teammates for their hard work. The young quarterback has made a lasting impact in his rookie season, not only through his impressive stats but also by openly sharing his Christian faith. Houston fans are eager to see how far Stroud can lead the team in the postseason. This is definitely a player to watch!
