Replacing Daniel Cormier, former middleweight champion Michael Bisping will join Jon Anik and Joe Rogan in providing commentary for the event in Anaheim, Calif. Meanwhile, Megan Olivi will handle reporting duties.
This news was confirmed by UFC officials to MMA Fighting recently.
Bisping has previously filled in for pay-per-view broadcasts, particularly for international events where Rogan may not be present. His most recent appearance was at UFC 286 in England alongside Cormier and Anik.
The highly-anticipated UFC 298 main event will feature Alexander Volkanovski defending his featherweight title against the emerging Ilia Topuria.
In the co-main event, former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will square off against Paulo Costa in a crucial 185-pound showdown. Additionally, the main card includes notable matchups such as Ian Machado Garry vs. Geoff Neal in the welterweight division and a bantamweight clash between Merab Dvalishvili and the illustrious Henry Cejudo.
The pay-per-view broadcast will kick off with a middleweight showdown between Anthony Hernandez and Roman Kopylov at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
