EverQuest Celebrates 25 Years
As EverQuest reaches its 25th anniversary, Daybreak Game Company, the game’s owner, is commemorating this milestone with special gifts for its dedicated fans.
For a quarter of a century, players have immersed themselves in quests, achievements, missions, crafting, exploration, and countless adventures in the world of Norrath.
Since its launch on March 16, 1999, a remarkable 9,132 days have passed. The player Kiith holds the record for the longest time played, logging 8,331 days. Collectively, over 5,144 centuries of gameplay have been enjoyed. The character Fippy has met their end 2,630,016 times. Currently, there are around 9.32 million characters across 24 active servers in EverQuest.
Remarkably, there are still 84 characters created on the game’s launch day who are actively playing. EverQuest boasts 439,354 non-player characters, 880 zones, and a whopping 167,491 unique items.
