URGENT NEED FOR MILITARY AND ECONOMIC SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration is warning Congress that without urgent approval for tens of billions of dollars in military and economic assistance to Ukraine, their efforts to defend themselves from Russia’s invasion will be severely hampered.
Ongoing delays in funding to send weapons and assistance to Kyiv could significantly impact their ability to continue fighting.
Office of Management and Budget Director Shalanda Young outlined the critical situation in a letter to House and Senate leaders, publicly stating that the U.S. funding to support Ukraine’s economy has already run out as well.
