The video in question being, his stint in Late Model Racing back in 1996, which he won. For many Florence Motor Speedway might be another regular track but for Dale Earnhardt Jr it held a special position in his racing career. In an episode of Dale Jr Download, the co-owner of JR Motorsports had once expressed, “I raced at Florence every Friday night, probably 14 times a year.” Junior was a frequent driver at Florence Speedway between 1994 and 1996, before upgrading to Busch Series.

Nonetheless, speaking of the 1996 victory in the Late Model Race at Florence Motor Speedway, the race marked Junior’s only victory on the track. It also marked his 14th second-place finish out of his 16 starts. Seeing the race uploaded on YouTube the driver took to Twitter, to express his astonishment. He stated, “A 1996 late model stock race I won @FlorenceMSpdwy was just uploaded to YouTube. I didn’t know video of it even existed. Cheers to you internet and technology.”
Junior also added, “I still have the car and the setup sheet from that event.”
