More human remains have been recovered from the ritzy California coastline that has become plagued by a sickening string of gruesome discoveries in recent years.
The body of an unidentified man was found at the base of the 300-foot cliffs of the affluent Palos Verdes Estates coastal city on October 30.
Palos Verdes Estates Police Department officers were alerted by someone who spotted the man lying face down off of Paseo Del Mar about 12:20 pm, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Police and fire department paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His cause of death has not yet been determined.
The man’s mysterious death came exactly two months after another man’s body was found in the same place. Investigators do not suspect that any foul play was involved.
In June, authorities were able to identify three sets of human remains that were discovered along the doomed shoreline, KTLA reported.
Mark Paulson, who was in his 60s, was reported missing in January 2021 after he called the Coast Guard for help while fishing.
He was linked to a human femur that was found off the shoreline two years later.

The second victim identified over the summer was Raymond Simeroth, who was in his 50s.
His DNA was linked to a skull and a bone found in November 2024. Investigators believe he was homeless before he died and there was no foul play in his death.
Zhoaliang Tang, 62, was the third victim identified in June. Tang was fishing with a friend on December 23, 2024, but never returned.
On Christmas Day, 2024, Tang and his fishing partner’s boat was found wrecked and a human leg was found washed up along the Bluff Cove Trail, which was later identified as belonging to Tang.
‘The Palos Verdes Estates Police Department remains committed to thorough investigations that help bring answers and closure to families affected by tragedy,’ Police Chief Luke Hellinga said when the victims were named.
‘While the circumstances surrounding each case are heartbreaking, we hope that these identifications provide a measure of peace to the loved ones who have endured uncertainty and loss.’
But there is still work to be done, as other eerie discoveries remain shrouded in mystery.
On December 29, 2024, the severely decomposed body of an unidentified person was discovered near where Tang’s remains were found.
A human skull was discovered in November 2024.
