GTA 6 and Red Dead Redemption 2
Rockstar
The GTA 6 trailer is just about to hit a milestone of 120 million views on YouTube, and with 9.8 million likes, the consensus seems to be “wow, that looks really good.”
Not only the Vice City/Leonida environments stand out, but the character models steal the spotlight, from its leads Jason and Lucia to the NPCs you’ll encounter embodying the wildness of the region.
Unlike many others, trailers released by Rockstar seem to accurately represent the final product. The fine detail and the character models have remained consistent from the initial trailers to the release.
Rockstar’s presentation in the trailers reflects the actual quality and style of the game, showcasing the main characters, all supporting ones, and yes, even the twerk physics.
The face technology might not be that ground-breaking, but the performance capture and overall character modeling bring the citizens of Vice City to life in a whole new way.
Looking back at Rockstar’s history, it seems highly unlikely the game will be a visual downgrade from what’s been shown in the trailer. If history repeats itself, GTA 6 should look as amazing as it appears.
