Derek Hough shares an update on his wife Hayley’s progress after undergoing brain surgery — the road to recovery may be long, but they’re thankful for the outpouring of love and support they’ve received.
Hough posted a message on Instagram Friday, in which he explained the situation they’re facing. Hayley suffered a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel, which necessitated emergency craniectomy. This is a serious condition, with a recovery that will likely take time.
In his post, Derek also expressed his gratitude for the support from fans and admirers. They’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of others, and hope to be able to give back in the future as well.
