Vikings’ Justin Jefferson’s Hospitalization After Brutal Hit Caught on Camera

Exciting ‌news as Justin Jefferson returned to​ the football field ​this week, ​but it was short-lived.

During the Vikings game against the Raiders, Dobbs ⁣found Jefferson over the middle ⁣on third down, only to be met with ‌a‍ bone-jarring hit from ​Raiders safety Marcus Epps.

Jefferson ‌was taken to ‍the hospital for ⁤evaluation and did not ​return to ⁣the​ game after the brutal hit. Dobbs’ throw didn’t help matters ⁤as it left Jefferson vulnerable to ‌such a ‌hit. The Vikings ⁢had eagerly awaited Jefferson’s return after his two-month absence due ‍to a hamstring injury.

While it’s uncertain how long the​ Vikings will be without‍ Jefferson, there‌ is some hope as the ⁤head coach ‍announced that ⁤Jefferson had been released​ from the hospital and would ‍be traveling back⁢ with the team.

Dobbs being benched didn’t stop the Vikings from securing a 3-0 win against the Raiders, improving their record ⁢to 7-6 and bringing them within two games of the division-leading⁤ Detroit.
