

Rich The Kid has made headlines for all the wrong reasons after being arrested for attempting to enter the SLS Hotel in South Beach, Miami while police were responding to a bomb threat at the hotel. New details have emerged about the rapper’s presence on the hotel premises.
An insider told The Shade Room that Rich The Kid was set to perform at Hyde Beach nightclub inside the hotel and was there to meet with the promoter to get paid for his performance. Other big names like A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and NLE Choppa were also set to perform at this event.
Earlier, we reported that police closed off the perimeter of the hotel while they investigated the bomb threat, preventing Rich The Kid from entering. Despite warnings, he defied police orders and found himself arrested. According to TMZ, Rich even assured police officers that he would “bond out in 20 minutes.”
However, after being released, Rich The Kid took to social media to share a video and photo of himself, proving that he was indeed released from custody.
In the lead-up to the arrest, Rich The Kid had been spotted at various events in Miami for Art Basel.

Prior to being released from custody, Rich The Kid, whose real name is Dimitri Roger, was charged with resisting officer without violence and trespassing.
