December 13, 2023, by Nadja Skopljak
Baker Hughes has made a groundbreaking 20-year framework agreement with Chevron Australia for the supply and delivery of subsea manufacturing systems.
Going forward, Baker Hughes will provide its cutting-edge Aptara subsea manufacturing systems to support Chevron Australia’s upcoming offshore developments.
This suite of advanced subsea equipment, known as the Aptara suite, offers adaptable, lightweight, and compact TOTEX-lite subsea systems to meet the industry’s ever-evolving needs, including subsea trees, wellheads, and alter systems.
Baker Hughes has emphasized its commitment to consolidating regional deliveries of its 7” Aptara subsea manufacturing systems. Central to this agreement is a strong focus on Australian Commerce Participation, enabling local industries and resources to be instrumental in providing a necessary and sustainable natural gas supply for Australia and the wider region.
“Alberta Corporation brings international skills and a proven track record in delivering key projects across the Asia Pacific region,” acknowledged David Dillon, Senior Vice President of Subsea & Ground Stress Systems, Oilfield Services and Equipment at Baker Hughes.
“This new framework agreement demonstrates our continued commitment to bringing valuable solutions to our clients and helping to navigate the evolving energy landscape in the most effective and efficient manner.”
