Errors Have Radically Changed the Image of Call of Duty MW3
Since its inception, errors have significantly impacted the overall experience of Call of Duty MW3. One of the most troublesome errors that has surfaced is the “Your Profile Was Signed Out” error.
This error seems to occur randomly, sending you back to the main page of the Call of Duty application. It then prompts you to either restart or exit to your desktop/device. Because the error can occur at any time, it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly why it’s happening to you. Fortunately, there are a few things you can try to effectively resolve the issue and prevent the error from hindering your access to MW3.

More often than not, “Your Profile Was Signed Out” is an error that occurs as a result of an issue on your end rather than with the developer or game. In most cases, simply clicking “Restart” when the error appears should allow you to reboot the Call of Duty app and access MW3 without any issues.
The real problem arises if you continue to encounter the error after repeatedly rebooting MW3. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following potential solutions:
- If you’re on PC, completely close out of both Steam or Battle.net by ending the processes in Task Manager. Then, restart the program and relaunch MW3 from there.
- Restart your PC or console and then try to launch MW3 again. You can take it a step further by unplugging your device from its power source and waiting 1-2 minutes before plugging it back in.
- Ensure that your network connection is functioning properly, as even a brief loss of connection can trigger the error. I recommend performing a soft reset of your modem/router by unplugging it from power for 3-4 minutes and then plugging it back in.
