There is no shortage of NBA players who have experienced Draymond Green’s fiery temper up close. Playing alongside the likes of Steven Adams, LeBron James, Domantas Sabonis, Rudy Gobert, and Jordan Poole, Green’s aggressive attitude on the court is well-documented. Perhaps most famously, his verbal altercation with Kevin Durant caused a storm of controversy early in their third season together with the Golden State Warriors, resulting in Green’s suspension.
Despite the fallout, Durant hopes that Green can overcome his personal issues and return to the court. However, his recent on-court hit on Jusuf Nurkic has resulted in an indefinite suspension, leaving his future in doubt. Green’s erratic behavior has long been a concern, and the NBA has made it clear that they will no longer tolerate his actions lightly. Green reportedly plans to undergo counseling to address these concerns, but his return to the court is uncertain.
Two former teammates are now on opposing sides, with Durant expressing concern for Green’s well-being. As Green’s future in the NBA hangs in the balance, his ability to move past these incidents will be crucial.
