

Local restaurateur to open full-service neighborhood eatery in Carolina Forest


Get ready, Myrtle Beach! The Toasted Yolk Café is coming your way in Winter 2024 with their unique combination of farm-to-table breakfast, boozy brunch, and lunch. Located at 1004 Glenforest Road, get ready for a reimagined menu of traditional breakfast and lunch classics accompanied by a full bar. The restaurant will be operated by local business owners Adam and Sarah Thornton, along with their friend Alex Ibanescu.
If you’re a food enthusiast who wants to be part of an exciting project, the cafe is now hiring! They are accepting applications for various positions available, including cooks, dishwashers, hosts, bussers, servers, and bartenders at Extreme Pizza Myrtle Beach. This will be a great opportunity as the cafe will bring about 50 new jobs to the area.
The Toasted Yolk Café is known for its famous Churro Donuts, Cowboy Scramble, West Coast Arnold, and Shrimp and Grits. Plus, they have an amazing variety of drinks, from classic mimosas to cocktails like Rise ‘N’ Shine Punch and Jackie’s Morning Rita. With a menu that provides unmatched quality and freshness, The Toasted Yolk Café is the place to be.
The new Toasted York is near the Tanger Outlets Myrtle Beach Highway 501, about five miles down U.S. 501 from the Coastal Carolina University campus. Its operating hours will be 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
