India’s Leading Solar Junction Box Manufacturer Expanding Capacity to 50 GW Per Year
On February 16, 2024, DhaSh PV, the largest integrated solar PV junction box manufacturer in India, announced plans to increase its solar junction box manufacturing capacity at its Bengaluru facility to 50 GW per year. This significant expansion represents a substantial investment of $41.7 million and is expected to propel DhaSh PV to the forefront of the industry.
The project, approved by the state government, will see the establishment of a new electron-beam melting (EBM) cable manufacturing unit with a daily capacity of 400 km. Additionally, an in-house semiconductor (diode) manufacturing facility is set to be operational by 2025. These developments will solidify DhaSh PV’s position as the world’s largest PV junction box manufacturer outside of China.
