Dessert enthusiasts, get ready to line up at Subway. The former world’s largest restaurant chain is about to become the go-to spot for one of the fast food world’s longest desserts. Move over, footlong subs: a footlong cookie is coming to Subway!
Now it’s official. The Subway footlong cookie is finally in the national spotlight. And boy, do they look delicious.
What kind of cookie is the Subway footlong cookie? Well, it’s a classic: chocolate chip. Who can resist a scrumptious and gooey chocolate chip cookie, let alone 12 inches of it?
In 2022, the chain teased customers with a pop-up of the footlong cookie in Miami for National Cookie Day. To no one’s surprise, they quickly sold out in less than 2 hours. Following the overwhelming success, Subway has perfected the cookie and now it’s making its grand comeback in time for National Cookie Day (December 4). Plus, it will be a permanent fixture on Subway’s menu next month!

When can I get a Subway footlong cookie? If you’re in these four cities, you’re in luck! You can pick up a free footlong cookie today. Just buy a footlong sub at Subway’s “Cookieway” and you’ll get a footlong cookie for free. The promotion is available from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. local time at the following locations:
- Chicago: 604 S Wabash Ave, Suite D, Chicago, IL 60605
- Dallas: 1222 Commerce Street, Suite 150, Dallas, TX 75202
- Miami: 2795 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33140
- New York City: 545 8 Ave., New York, NY 10018

For those who can’t pick up a free footlong cookie today, don’t worry. The footlong cookie will soon be a permanent menu item. Considering Subway sells more freshly baked cookies than any other U.S. restaurant company, it’s only natural.
