Get ready for an exciting edition of the Giro d’Italia Women in 2024! The race, organized by RCS Sport, will kick off in Brescia, Lombardy on July 7th, and will conclude in L’Aquila on July 14th.
This thrilling event is a part of the UCI Women’s World Tour and has a rich history, dating back to 1988. After being previously organized by Starlight / PMG Sport, RCS Sport is now at the helm for the 2024 edition.
Formerly known as the Giro d’Italia Donne, the 2024 event has been rebranded as the Giro d’Italia Women. Throughout the years, it has also been called the Giro Rosa (2013-2020) and the Giro d’Italia Femminile.
Featuring challenging terrain with almost 12,000m of altitude gain, the route includes a variety of stages, from flat to high-mountain, promising an exciting race for both participants and spectators.
