Wonka’ Takes the Lead at the North American Box Office with $14.4M Opening Weekend

The highly anticipated movie, Wonka continues to lead the North American box office for a second weekend, raking in an impressive $14.4 million in ticket sales this past weekend, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.

Also making waves at the box office are Night Swim, in the No. 2 spot with $12 million, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom at No. 3 with $10.6 million, Migration at No. 4 with $10.3 million, followed closely by Anyone But You at No. 5 with $9.5 million.

Rounding out the top ten, we have The Boys in the Boat in No. 6 with $6 million, The Color Purple at No. 7 with $4.8 million, The Iron Claw at No. 8 with $4 million, Ferrari at No. 9 with $2.5 million and Poor Things coming in at No. 10 with $2 million in ticket sales.
