So, we’ve got some news about Wavedash 2024…and it’s not great. The tournament series won’t be happening this year. We know, we’re bummed too. But don’t worry, the organizers have promised that Wavedash will be back in 2025!
According to a statement on Twitter, the team behind Wavedash has had to make a tough call about this year’s event. It turns out, putting together an epic tournament like Wavedash takes a ton of time, resources, and financial risk. And with the team members either finishing up or starting degrees, plus working full-time, they just couldn’t make it happen in 2024.
But hey, let’s look on the bright side – 2025 is just around the corner. And who knows, maybe the next Wavedash will be even bigger and better than ever. We can’t wait to see where the rankings for the best Smash players will be by then!
