Denny Hamlin has been a prominent figure in the NASCAR Cup series for the past 18 years. Throughout his career, he’s clinched victory in 51 races, including the Daytona 500 in 2016, 2019, and 2020. He’s a Florida native but grew up in Virginia and has a remarkable record in the sport, ranking as one of the four drivers to have secured back-to-back wins at the Daytona 500.
As an accomplished driver, his standing is also noteworthy. Although he’s yet to secure a championship title, he’s come close on several occasions. In 2010, he finished the season as the runner-up, ending the year just 39 points behind Jimmie Johnson. Hamlin is a consistent contender and has been a top-five finisher for the past five years.
