Klay Thompson made quite the entrance at Chase Center on Saturday.
The Warriors sharpshooter arrived at the game against the Los Angeles Lakers wearing a red 49ers puffer jacket while riding his bicycle into the garage. The special design was created by Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
Thompson shouted out, “Niner gang!” as he arrived, showing off the collaboration. Juszczyk’s designs have been making waves in the sports world, having also customized pieces for international pop star Taylor Swift, actor Taylor Lautner and 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel, among others.
She is even in talks with the NFL about turning her innovative designs into official league merchandise.
Juszczyk expressed her delight at having Thompson wear her design, commenting on a video of him wearing it and writing on Instagram, “LET’S GO!!!” Juszczyk wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for the support!!! Do it for the bay!!”
Thompson’s support came at a perfect time as the 49ers play in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium. Several 49ers players have been spotted at Warriors games, so Thompson returning the favor is a nice gesture.
