KTM has announced the pre-order availability of its highly anticipated 2024 KTM 890 Adventure R Rally, a motorcycle that encapsulates the brand’s rally racing heritage and engineering expertise. Limited to just 700 units worldwide, this model is set to redefine offroad adventure biking. Alongside the bike’s launch, KTM is offering an exclusive “ULTIMATE KTM DESERT EXPERIENCE” for 34 fortunate buyers.
Rally Heritage and Engineering
The KTM 890 Adventure R Rally is designed with rally racing at its core, drawing inspiration from KTM’s success in iconic events like the Dakar Rally. The bike features components comparable to those on the 2023 Dakar Rally winner Kevin Benavides’ Red Bull KTM Factory Racing KTM 450 Rally bike, making it one of the most offroad-capable adventure motorcycles on the market.
Suspension and Rideability
The bike is equipped with a state-of-the-art WP XPLOR PRO 7548 fork system and WP XPLOR PRO 6746 shock absorber, both part of the WP Pro Components program. With 270 mm of travel, the suspension system is designed to offer superior damping performance in challenging terrains, while also accommodating riders carrying heavy luggage or a pillion.

Engine and Performance
Powered by an 889 cc engine that delivers 100 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm and 105 hp, the bike is performance-driven. It features an Akrapovič Slip-on Line exhaust system and comes with an Offroad ABS system, Traction Control, TURN-BY-TURN+ navigation, and multiple ride modes, all displayed on a 5” TFT screen.
