Starting on February 27 in the Bay Area and later in March in New York City, Pokeworks will introduce a minimally processed, plant-based tuna option, ideal for diners looking for a light, fresh poke experience without traditional fish ingredients. The new tuna, developed by Impact Food, is made from a blend of pea protein and seaweed, offering a sustainable and nutritious alternative to traditional seafood.
Guests will have the opportunity to sample the plant-based tuna at Pokeworks locations in SoMa (San Francisco) and Union Square (New York City) on launch day. The tuna will also be available for catering orders in these markets, demonstrating Pokeworks’ commitment to providing a variety of options to meet customer preferences.
