Lonzo Ball showcasing improved skills in recent training footage was originally published on NBC Sports Chicago
Recent training videos of Lonzo Ball have been creating a buzz on social media, demonstrating his enhanced athleticism following his recovery from his third consecutive knee surgery.
These videos capture moments of him displaying swift, lateral movements and executing his signature left-handed pass. Additionally, he can be seen effortlessly dunking and hitting the backboard in an apparently effortless manner in another clip.
While recent reports indicate that Ball has not yet regained the ability to sprint, something that coach Billy Donovan mentioned he would be trying to do in January, some may interpret this as a setback in his rehabilitation journey.
However, based on the content of these training videos, it is evident that Ball is currently progressing in his recovery process, potentially surpassing his previous rehabilitation milestones following his initial knee surgery in January 2022.
About a month ago, Ball had a conversation with Stacey King and Adam Amin during a broadcast for NBC Sports Chicago at a Bulls home game. During this interaction, he provided an update to the team regarding his rehabilitation progress.
“My rehab has definitely been improving,” Ball shared. “It has been a lengthy process, longer than I had hoped for. However, I am progressing through each stage as required, ticking off the necessary checkpoints and seeing improvement on a weekly basis.”
