In her recent Saturday Night Live monologue, Sydney Sweeney decided to set the record straight, touching on various rumors surrounding her. While hosting the March 2nd episode of SNL, Sweeney addressed rumors from attending a Trump-themed party in Idaho to denying having a nutritionist and clarifying her fitness routine. However, the most prominent rumor she tackled was the alleged workplace affair with her Anyone But You co-star, Glen Powell. The audience’s initial shock at Sweeney’s denials spoke to the chemistry between her and Powell during their promotional tour.
Despite the convincing display, Sweeney firmly stated that the rumor of the affair is “clearly false,” emphasizing her connection to her fiancé, who co-produced the film. However, when she requested a camera cut to her supportive partner, it was Powell who appeared, smiling from the audience. Powell later made a cameo in a sketch as Sweeney’s love interest, following his recent musical performance with Sweeney and Natasha Bedingfield. Powell’s enthusiastic participation in these appearances showcases his dedication as a ‘work husband.’
