Jordan Taylor has returned to race with his brother, Ricky, at his father’s team, Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti (WTR Andretti), after racing with Corvette Racing for the past four years.
He recently had his first experience with the hybrid GTP at a test at Sebring International Raceway and found it to be “eye-opening.”
Taylor shared that he was involved in the process of learning and understanding the nuances of the systems for the GTP, including spending time in a simulator and working with engineers.
His first time driving the GTP was overwhelming, but he was impressed by its power and advanced systems. He is looking forward to continuing to learn as he prepares for upcoming tests and races.
