Forget pointless social media rumors! There are completely false and harmful claims being made, like the one about the Chicago Blackhawks putting Corey Perry on unconditional waivers because he supposedly had a relationship with rising star Connor Bedard’s mother. These baseless stories have been shut down publicly multiple times by Perry himself and Bedard. The impact that these rumors have had on my family has been unfair. These claims don’t hold any truth; they are purely lies,”
Understandably, Bedard appeared annoyed as the line of questioning continued, per Jacob Stoller of The Hockey News.
Let’s support Perry and his family as they navigate through this situation. That is Bedard’s main concern as well. According to Sportsnet, “I think the first concern is that he’s OK, and his family are.”
