Anne Hathaway is known for her earnest relatability, her Oscar-winning performance in Les Misérables, and her memorable role in The Devil Wears Prada. However, she has now entered into her ice-queen era from a fashion perspective.
While promoting William Oldroyd’s adaptation of Ottessa Moshfegh’s Eileen, the 41-year-old actress, along with her super-stylist Erin Walsh, has embraced an aesthetic reminiscent of the White Witch from The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe (in the best possible way).
For example, she was spotted wearing a head-to-toe Des Phemmes look with white eco-leather and Swarovski crystals during a visit to the Kelly & Mark studio. She accessorized with Bulgari jewelry and silver Jimmy Choo sandals, fully embodying the frosty feel of her outfit.
She also incorporated Swarovski crystals and Bulgari jewelry into another winter white look later that same day.

For a later appearance, Hathaway donned Anna Quan’s Athena blazer over the label’s Paris dress and a pair of pristine Christian Louboutin heels.
Her outfit for the Fashion Awards was a cream-colored dress from the Valentino archives, complemented by a diamond necklace that accentuated the wintry theme.
On December 8, she impressively pulled off another Des Femmes look, featuring a crystal-studded bustier and skirt with a matching coat outside the Jimmy Fallon studio.
It’s fitting that her Elsa-esque looks chime with the atmosphere of Eileen, set in a frigid Massachusetts winter in the run-up to Christmas Day, 1964.
The film focuses on the blossoming friendship between the titular character, Eileen McKenzie, and the reformatory’s new psychiatrist, Rebecca, played by Hathaway.
While the film may not be A Wonderful Life, it has certainly given rise to a wonderful promo wardrobe for the actress.
