Exciting news for some borrowers: the Biden administration is moving up loan cancellation to start in February, providing faster relief. Eligible borrowers who are enrolled in the new SAVE plan, borrowed $12,000 or less for college, and made at least 10 years of payments can benefit. The Education Department is working on determining how many borrowers will be eligible for cancellation next month.
