Bill Maher is appalled at the criticism directed at folks like MrBeast, who are doing amazing work to make the world a better place. He’s gotten sick of the negativity and has called out the critics, labeling them as f**king idiots.

As an example, he used MrBeast, a hugely popular YouTuber with 38 billion views, to illustrate his point about how unfair it is to condemn acts of kindness and helpfulness that are clearly good for the world. It’s a sign of how we’ve lost our common sense.

For instance, MrBeast funded a significant number of cataract surgeries to treat blindness, and the response was to criticize him, insinuating that he sees disabilities as problems that need to be solved, which is simply absurd.

There are numerous other examples, such as MrBeast’s funding of 100 wells in Africa to provide clean drinking water to thousands of people. Instead of praise, he faced condemnation for “grabbing all the attention.” As Bill Maher said, “You know what else is frustrating? Dying of thirst.”

Another example is when MrBeast paid to rebuild an orphanage in Africa and was criticized for being the classic “white savior.”

This craziness has even impacted our government, with the NIH proposing to remove the word “disability” because it suggests that disabled people are flawed and need to be fixed. Bill’s response? If he ever loses his sight or hearing, don’t praise him – fix him.

Bill goes on to ask why we’re trashing those who are doing good in this season of giving.
