Bobby Green has taken to social media to congratulate Jalin Turner on his impressive knockout win at the UFC Austin co-main event over the weekend.
The referee, Kerry Hatley, faced backlash for allowing Turner to continue striking Green after he was dropped in the first round, with UFC commentator Daniel Cormier criticizing it as one of the worst stoppages he had ever seen.
UFC CEO Dana White also expressed his disappointment in Hatley’s performance, but Green seems to have no hard feelings.
“What up, guys?” Green wrote on Instagram. “You win some, you lose some. I guess I want to show people that you’ve got to keep it G and you’ve got to keep it G when you lose.

“Shout out to Jalin, you did your thing, brother. I’m so happy for you. It means the world that you stepped up on short notice and you had your success, so shout out to you. To all my people, it’s just another step in the thing, you know. Another step in the career. There’s ups, there’s downs, I’m a keep it going. I’m not going nowhere. Love you, guys.”
This defeat marked Green’s fifth knockout loss in his 48-fight career but snapped an impressive streak of victories against top-tier opponents. Meanwhile, Turner’s win brings him back into the win column after suffering losses in his last two fights. With a 14-7 record in his overall mixed martial arts career, Turner is looking to build on this momentum.
