California Coast Credit Union’s Support for Local Flood Victims
In a show of solidarity with families affected by recent floods, California Coast Credit Union has joined forces with Logan Heights Community Development Corporation (LHCDC) to provide assistance to those who have been displaced. This partnership aims to aid families who have been relocated to temporary housing through the Emergency Assistance Program in the wake of the devastating floods caused by heavy rains.
To support this cause, Cal Coast has pledged $7,500 to LHCDC, which works in conjunction with the San Diego Housing Commission to assess the impact of the storms on families in temporary housing. The funding provided by California Coast Credit Union will cater to the urgent needs of these families, offering assistance in the form of food, kitchen supplies, clothing, and other essentials.
Monte Jones, the CEO of Logan Heights CDC, expressed gratitude for the ongoing collaboration with Cal Coast, emphasizing the swift response to the immediate needs of affected families. Todd Lane, President & CEO of California Coast, acknowledged the hardship faced by families during this difficult time, highlighting the importance of community partnerships in times of crisis.
For individuals seeking temporary housing following the recent floods, the City of San Diego Housing Commission can be contacted for assistance.
