Raddatz can report in blissful isolation of an old media that really believes there is nothing wrong with America, just serious problems with a lot of ignorant and racist Americans.
America has become a strange land, where pro-life activists are sentenced to three-and-a-half years of prison and illegal immigrants have the run of the country, committing crimes without even being subject to deportation. Bevelyn Williams began serving that sentence Wednesday. If you read her charge sheet, she’s going to prison for “unlawful assembly,” or for violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act). She was charged with participating in a pro-life protest at a New York City Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in June 2020.
Doesn’t the Constitution of the United States guarantee freedom of assembly? I thought so. Apparently not anymore. At least not if you’re an opponent of the Biden-Harris administration, which is only apparently running on one issue in this election: more access to abortion. I had to laugh when former president Bill Clinton was caught this week casually dismissing that administration’s immigration policy when he actually observed that Laken Riley, the murdered Georgia nursing student whose suspected killer is an illegal immigrant, would probably be alive if at least some of the tens of millions of illegals entering America under President Joe Biden had been “properly vetted.” Clinton went on to say that the only reason the US is bringing so many immigrants into the country is because Americans aren’t “having babies.” One of the reasons for this is that America has become a country that promotes abortion, not as a last resort but as easy birth control and a “reproductive health” issue that is no different from having an appendix removed.
The mainstream media did not report on Williams’ incarceration. It has no problem with pro-life women being thrown into prison for years and thinks you’re racist if you don’t think illegals from Venezuela should be allowed to set up new chapters of their Tren de Aragua criminal organization as soon as they set foot in America. And it’s just not a problem when they do. If you haven’t seen the interview with Republican vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) and ABC News host Martha Raddatz as the two discuss what the lefty journalist describes as a “handful of problems” in Aurora, CO, please do. It is emblematic of the caustic distance that exists between America’s media elite and average citizens whom these denizens of yesterday’s journalism can never understand because they will never know them.
Raddatz and Vance were discussing how Venezuelan gangsters with the crime syndicate Tren de Aragua had infiltrated the city of Aurora, a suburb of Denver, and literally appropriated a number of apartment complexes so that they could terrorize the occupants and extort money from them. That wasn’t shocking enough for Raddatz who interrupted Vance. “I’m going to stop you because I know exactly what happened,” Raddatz told Vance. “I’m going to stop you.
