Mexico vs. Dominican Republic
Mexico claimed their first win of the tournament against the Dominican Republic with a commanding 9-1 victory. Despite an early run scored by the Dominican Republic, Mexico’s pitcher, Jeff Kinley, delivered an impressive performance, allowing only one run while his team’s offense flourished. Aaron Altherr’s three-run double and Agustin Murillo’s solo homer were key moments in Mexico’s win.
