Exciting news! Duce Staley is set to make his way to Cleveland, according to multiple reports. He’ll be joining the Browns’ staff as their new running backs coach. This comes after Staley recently met with the Jets about their RBs coach vacancy.
Staley has an impressive coaching history, having spent nearly a decade with the Eagles before joining the Lions in 2021 and then the Panthers to kick off the 2023 season. Unfortunately, he was let go from the Panthers along with Frank Reich and quarterbacks coach Josh McCown in November.
The Browns made some coaching changes of their own, parting ways with several staff members after their recent loss. They’re clearly making moves to shake things up, and Staley’s addition is sure to bring some new energy to the team.
