Upon its initial release, Penny’s Big Breakaway was limited to a maximum frame rate of 30FPS. However, enthusiasts will be thrilled to learn that this restriction is being lifted in the next update. Developer Christian Whitehead has confirmed that the forthcoming console update will unlock the frame rate on the Switch, providing players with the opportunity to select between 30FPS and a new 60FPS option.
Similar to the setup in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, it’s worth noting that the enhanced frame rate may not guarantee consistently smooth performance. Nevertheless, the addition of an alternative frame rate is a welcome development. Additionally, the upcoming update will introduce anti-aliasing for the 30FPS setting, further enhancing the overall visual quality of the game.
