According to UFC President Dana White, the latest performance institute in Mexico is the organization’s most advanced facility to date.
Prior to the upcoming fight card in Mexico City, White participated in the inauguration of the facility located in the Mexican capital, set to open fully in April.
White expressed his excitement, stating, “This has been a long-term dream and goal of mine, dating back to 2001.” The UFC Mexico PI aims to lay a solid groundwork for the growth of mixed martial arts in Latin America.
Walking through the halls and observing the gym, White marveled at the incredible facility, expressing his gratitude to everyone involved in bringing his vision to life.
Accompanied by UFC executives and fighters like Alexa Grasso and UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja, White remarked that the Mexico facility surpasses those in Las Vegas and Shanghai in terms of impressiveness.
Reflecting on the evolution of performance institutes, White stated, “From the first facility in Las Vegas, then China, to now, each build has surpassed the last. The Mexico PI is undeniably the apex of UFC Performance Institutes. The progress in our facilities is a testament to our continuous improvement.”
