Germany saw a massive jump in solar capacity installation, with 14.1 GW of new solar capacity likely installed in 2023. The Bundesnetzagentur reports that there are now over 260,000 balcony solar modules in operation, representing a huge step forward in solar energy. This significant increase in capacity almost doubles the previous year’s numbers, marking a major achievement for PV, according to Klaus Müller, president of the Bundesnetzagentur.
