Partow’s collection this season is all about creating solidly wearable clothes that resonate with the current sensitive state of the world. Designer Nellie Partow considers how people are feeling and aims to make their lives easier with her designs. The result is an elegant and empowering collection that doesn’t skimp on lightness and softness.
The standout pieces include an olive suit in soft yet sturdy merino wool twill and a classic tan trench in bonded cotton with hand-carved buttons. The collection also features springy knit skirts with ”dropped stitches” for a subtle sensuality, tonal floral jacquard button-down shirts, and midi-length a-line skirts in shades of cream, dusty rose, and black. Each color completely changes the mood of the pieces, with the black pieces exuding low-key glamour thanks to a metallic thread running through the fabric. A white poplin dress with a modest cutout at the rib cage adds a touch of elevated ease and utility to the collection.
