Imagine Dragons has reached a milestone on Spotify with their track “Bad Liar” becoming their tenth song to exceed one billion streams, solidifying their position as the group with the most songs with over a billion plays on the platform.

Setting a new record on Spotify, Imagine Dragons’ “Bad Liar” has joined the elite Billions Club playlist, alongside hits like “Believer” and “Thunder,” each boasting more than two billion streams. With “Demons,” “Bones,” and “Radioactive” also on the list, Imagine Dragons now holds the record for the most songs surpassing one billion streams on Spotify.

Since their debut in 2009, Imagine Dragons has achieved five consecutive Top 10 albums on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Their albums Night Visions (2012), Smoke + Mirrors (2015), Evolve (2017), Origins (2018), and Mercury – Act 1 (2021) have all been well-received. Their latest release, Mercury – Act 2 in 2022, marked their first double-album project produced by Rick Rubin. The single “Bones” from that album recently reached No. 1 on Alternative Radio and continues to hold a spot in Spotify’s Global Top 50.

Their collaboration with rapper J.I.D, “Enemy,” secured the No. 6 spot on the IFPI Global Singles Chart for 2022, accumulating billions of streams worldwide. Imagine Dragons also stand out on radio, being one of only four bands to have simultaneous Top 5 singles on Alternative Radio, a feat they have achieved multiple times.

The music videos for Imagine Dragons’ popular songs like “Thunder” and “Believer” have amassed over two billion views on YouTube, while “Radioactive” and “Demons” videos have crossed the one billion view mark. The band has collaborated with diverse artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, the late Avicii, and renowned film composer Hans Zimmer.

In addition to their musical success, Imagine Dragons have been actively involved in various charitable causes. They have raised millions for causes like pediatric cancer through The Tyler Robinson Foundation, as well as supporting LGBTQ+ youth with frontman Dan Reynolds’ LOVELOUD Foundation and festival.
