Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes issued a public apology to Bills quarterback Josh Allen on Wednesday, expressing regret for his comments about the officiating during their postgame interaction.
“I was caught up in the moment when I was talking to Josh at midfield,” Mahomes admitted, through video from the Chiefs. “To lose the soccer sport, a flowery soccer sport, in a flowery manner. . . . Allen revealed Wednesday that Mahomes apologized to him, but the Bills quarterback indicated he didn’t deem the phone name became main.
