Earlier this week Kylie Jenner made quite the entrance at Jean Paul Gaultier and Simone Rocha’s spring-summer 2024 haute couture show, wearing nothing but a flesh-toned corset with a diaphanous sheet of fabric. Her look was reminiscent of a dressmaker’s mannequin brought to life—especially since Gaultier’s atelier has crafted a series of dummies to Jenner’s exact bodily proportions.

With her collapsed bouffant and the “I’ve just wrapped this chiffon bedspread around myself while collecting room service” attitude, Jenner fully embodied the bedroom bombshell archetype during Paris Couture Week. She even stepped out for dinner in a bra, knickers, and what looked like a hastily fastened bathrobe, complete with hair that looked like she just stepped out of the shower. (See the photo here.)
It’s no surprise that John Galliano requested Jenner’s presence at his Maison Margiela Artisanal presentation for the second time in 12 months, given his love for the hourglass, doll-like siren aesthetic. The theatrics of the event were enough to inspire Kylie Jenner to dial up her own powers of seduction.
