Heartbreaking News: Lee Sun-kyun, the talented actor from the Oscar-winning movie “Parasite,” has passed away, according to South Korea’s emergency office.
The tragic discovery was made in a car at a central Seoul park where Lee was found unconscious earlier on Wednesday.
Reports from South Korean media indicate that Lee was found in the car at the park, with police revealing that they had been searching for him after his family reported a concerning message similar to a suicide note.
Following the discovery of an unconscious man at the park, authorities confirmed that it was indeed Lee, and tragically, he was later pronounced dead. A charcoal briquette was found in the passenger seat of the car.
Lee was celebrated for his role in “Parasite,” as well as his award-winning performance in “Dr. Brain.” His talent and presence on Korean screens will be greatly missed.
