Wow! Now this is what I call a party dress. Law & Order: SVU is now 25 years old, and to celebrate this milestone, Mariska Hargitay wore a shimmering, metallic silver dress that makes me want to get up and do the hustle just looking at it. Every floor is a dance floor when you’re the disco ball.
Hargitay’s silver sequined dress was figure-skimming, with short sleeves and a high neckline with a tie detail, as well as a flippy, midi-length skirt. She added a few silver bangles and glittery cocktail rings to match the dress’s sparkle, and opted for strappy black stilettos to finish the look. The actor wore her brown hair in loose curls, and kept her manicure and makeup look simple.

Mariska Hargitay recently revealed her own sexual assault story in an essay for People, writing, “Sexual violence persists not because of something unchangeable in our human condition. It exists because power structures are in place that allow it to happen.”
Asked on the red carpet about the legacy of Olivia Benson after 25 seasons, Hargitay teared up. “I hope that her legacy is that she helped a lot of people heal,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
