Community comes together to help feed families across Georgia and the Southeast
Peachtree City, GA — October 28, 2025 — Midwest Food Bank Georgia hosted its annual Harvest of Blessings fundraising dinner on Friday, October 24, bringing together community partners, donors, corporate sponsors, and volunteers for a special evening of impact and generosity. The event raised essential funds to support the food bank’s mission of “Gifting Hope Through Food” to families and nonprofit partners across more than 50 counties in Georgia and the Southeastern United States.
Guests experienced an inspiring program featuring stories of lives impacted, a live and silent auction, and a paddle raise to support zero-cost food distribution and disaster relief efforts. The evening highlighted the growing need for food assistance and celebrated the collaborative partnerships that make Midwest Food Bank’s work possible.
“Harvest of Blessings is more than a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of the power of community,” said Pat Burke, Executive Director of Midwest Food Bank Georgia. “We are deeply grateful to the businesses, families, and volunteers who invest in this mission so that families facing food insecurity can access nutritious food with dignity.”
