Johnson and McKay have worked together before, with the lawmaker contributing numerous pieces to McKay’s blog. Johnson heavily promoted the controversial book on social media and his podcast, despite its problematic content.
The book contains a mix of homophobia, classism, widely debunked conspiracy theories, and false claims that Johnson has supported. In the foreword, Johnson says he believes the book is a “valuable and timely contribution” to public discourse.
But what exactly is in this book? For starters, it pushes multiple conspiracy theories, including the infamous “Pizzagate” conspiracy.
