A recent leak has revealed that a new Music Battle mini-game is on the way for the Fortnite Festival. Here’s your sneak peek at this exciting new mode.

It’s only been a few weeks since the release of the Fortnite Festival, LEGO Fortnite, and Rocket Racing, but there’s already big news for this Guitar Hero-inspired game.

According to Harmonix Studio’s Alex Rigopolous, hundreds of songs are set to be added to the Fortnite Festival each year, expanding the game’s playlist.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Dataminer BeastFNCreative has uncovered plans for a new mode called “Music Battle” in the Fortnite Festival.

As of right now, there aren’t too many details about how this game mode will function, but fans are already buzzing with speculation about what it could involve.

Players believe the mode may have them battling other teams by hitting the most notes or achieving the highest score in a single song.

The music will continue throughout the match, and it’s expected that a separate scoreboard will keep track of each player’s performance on their chosen instrument.
