Phillip “Phil” Gordon Pilcher, 78

Phillip “Phil” Gordon Pilcher, 78 of Senoia, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024.  He was born to Harry Maurice Pilcher and Betty Louise Whitten Pilcher in Bennettsville, South Carolina  on Monday, April 8, 1946.

Phil graduated from Murphy High School and loved playing football.  He worked many years at Jenkins Metal in Atlanta and retired from Spier Metal.

Phil is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sharon Sue Pilcher; his infant daughter, Kristie Leigh Pilcher, 2 brothers; and a sister.  He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Pilcher of Senoia; in-laws, Ronald Lee Jager and Mary Linda Jager; brother-in-law, Raymond Lee (Cindi) Jager; and sister-in-law, Sherrie Tomlinson; 3 stepchildren, Kritina (Tyler) Werts, Michelle (Robby) Elliott, and Gary (Brooke) Banks; 4 grandchildren, Addison Werts, Kyden, Hansleigh, and Emma Banks; 1 sister, 1 stepbrother.  Phil also leaves behind special nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

He will always be missed, remembered, and deeply loved.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 2, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the Brooks Assembly of God in Brooks, Georgia.  Visitation will occur prior to the service from 11:30  AM to 12:00 PM  at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Lung Association in Phil’s name.
